"AN HOUR" BEFORE SHE HAD HER FIRST COVER.
I have spent so many years looking at magazines in stands where either I had written a story in one of them, or a friend of mine was on the cover. If you read this blog, you know Alexandra Dwek is a close friend of mine. And, I've known Cairo since she was about 14. I also knew about the cover.
But to be cruising along the aisles of a RITE AID in Palm Springs and see this......it was REALLY COOL. The Daughter Also Rises! And, Cairo is a freshman at USC. Smart move.
